Brylee - one year old

I knew as soon as her mom contacted me on Facebook that I would love taking pictures of this little girl's big blue eyes! She's an absolute doll!

I love photographing one year olds. Their personality is really starting to shine and most of them can't run away from me yet! :) I also just love to listen to them babble in their incoherent-to-everybody-else-but-them language.

Baby J

Baby J was just shy of a month old when we did his pictures. And he was not very sleepy at all. But that's ok, we got some great shots of him interacting with mom and dad. I love all that thick, dark hair!







Dad was blowing in his face to settle him down a little. He loved it!





He did at least love the warmth outside and closed his eyes for a few adorable shots!! Look at those red lips. So cute!

Sisters

I had a photoshoot with a couple of sisters last weekend and had such a hard time trying to figure out which pictures to include on the blog. I loved them all, so I'll just include a ton!

By the way, the older sister is going to be going to Kindergarten with Kiki this fall (OMG in just over 2 weeks!) and Kiki is so excited to be there with her new "friend". She's only briefly met her once or maybe twice, but she's already telling people she has a new friend in kindergarten. :)

Newborn - Baby Ryder

Baby Ryder is finally here and he's so sweet and tiny and just adorable! We did his mom's maternity pictures back in May - here and here

The third member of the next generation of Gabby Johnson has been born. Now we just need a drummer :)











Ok seriously, I really just got lucky with this photo. It must have been the baby gas because he's only a week old. Or it could just be because his Momma was holding him instead of this mean lady with a camera making him pose in weird positions!

I see his Momma's dimples!

Downtown Memphis Maternity Pictures

I really like doing maternity pictures. I just love the anticipation of a new baby. Too bad big sister was feeling a little under the weather and couldn't join us for some pictures!







I don't know what it is about this picture below, but I just love it. Laura, you should be on the cover of Modern Mother magazine... if it even existed. I have no idea! :)

Kiki Jones took my camera from me last weekend and made me pose for a picture. She said, "Ok Mommy, now put one arm up in the air, like this". I can't believe I'm even posting this here, but it's too funny not to!

Somebody got a big boy hair cut!

It's been a week and a half now, but I haven't had time to post lately! Bubby got his first big boy hair cut and it looks so cute! He did really well too, except he would NOT wear a cape! But as long as he was eating his sucker & grapes, he was fine! I still can't believe his second birthday is just right around the corner!
