Ice

In March 1994 we had a terrible ice storm which really hit hard. Almost the entire area was without power for a while. So whenever we hear ice in the forecast in this southern city, people start to freak out.

And of course, it ended up not so bad. Thankfully we just had a thin layer of ice on everything and the roads were pretty clear.



By Sunday the sun was shining. The skies were so blue and the icy trees looked like they were glass sparkling in the sun!


This picture reminds me of those medical tests where they put dye in your veins and it shows up on the x-ray. Looks like a veiny sky.
