Snow days

We've had quite a bit more snow this year in the south than we're used to getting. On Monday morning we woke up to 5 inches of snow, which is probably more than the last several years combined. It was a complete surprise. Thankfully they decided not to interrupt the Superbowl with the winter weather warning!

Unfortunately, I ended up catching a stomach bug on Monday from Kiki, who must have caught it from Bubby over the weekend. I didn't even get any pictures of the snow. But I did just find these pictures, which were from the snow last week.

Check out the winter weather attire on Bubby. He is sporting his sister's purple L.L. Bean mittens, red Crocs that are one size too small, and Babylegs leg warmers complete with bones over his sweatpants. I think he looks simply adorable!


Kiki was a bit more put together with her matching hat & scarf.


Dear Mother Nature,
That's enough. We're ready for spring. I'm ready for some green & yellow in my pictures. Tell that groundhog he better change his prediction this year because we are so over the snow!
